Overview
...now’s the time he offers truth, when it matters least, when it acts as proof of a life that was never lived
The darkness takes that which he could never give
When teenager Kai, breaks into the home of pensioner Owen, the two are sent on a journey through time, love and loss.
Through the eyes of the young and old; the lovesick and alone; the delinquent and belligerent, All But Gone peers deep inside the psyche for the truth behind our love and asks - what use is love when the mind fractures and fades? Is it our vice, or our only remedy?
Matthew Trevannion’s brand-new play is the first production from The Other Room's new Artistic Director, Dan Jones.
Pan mae arddegwr o'r enw Kai yn torri i mewn i gartref hen ŵr o'r enw Owen, mae'r ddau yn mynd ar daith ryfeddol drwy amser, cariad a cholled.
Drwy lygaid pobl hen ac ifanc; y rhai sy'n glaf o gariad ac yn unig; y rhai tramgwyddus ac ymosodol, mae All But Gone yn tyrchu'n ddwfn i'r enaid am y gwirionedd y tu ôl i'n cariad ac yn gofyn – beth yw diben cariad pan fydd y meddwl yn torri ac yn dirywio? Ai dyma un o'n gwendidau, neu ein hunig gryfder?
Drama newydd sbon Matthew Trevannion yw cynhyrchiad cyntaf Dan Jones, Cyfarwyddwr Artistig newydd The Other Room.
This production is made possible by the generous support of the Arts Council of Wales.
