Do you ever feel like your body takes up too much space in a world that doesn’t want to make any room?Katie is fat. She's pretty much always been fat, and probably will be fat forever more.
Join her in the 'Cha Cha Slide', munch on some crisps, and have a listen to what it's like to live in a body that people can't help but have an opinion on.
FATTY FAT FAT is a funny, frank and provocative solo show about living in a body the world tells you to hate. Leave your diet books at the door.

Katie Greenall is a facilitator, theatre maker & spoken word artist. Her work is autobiographical, using her own experiences to honestly & boldly explore bodies, queerness & relationships through multiform theatre & poetry.
After feeling increasingly frustrated at the lack of representations of bodies & stories like hers, FATTY FAT FAT (FFF) was conceived in a workshop led by Scottee. It then debuted as part of Live Drafts at The Yard in April 2018, then programmed as the headline act at both Southend Fringe Festival & CLOUT! Festival at Studio 3 Arts, before completing a 6 show run at VAULT Festival in January 2019 and going on to a sell-out run at Edinburgh Festival 2019.
Led by Artist and Facilitator Katie Greenall, this practical workshop will explore how we make work about ourselves and the bodies we live in. Across this 2-hour workshop you will be led through a number of exercises and activities will start to unlock the stories you and your body holds.
The workshop will last for approximately 2-hours. There is limited availability so be sure to reserve your space.
