The final instalment of the series was the winner of the Violet Burns Playwrighting Award, Mari Izzard, and her debut play.

Like 2015’s A Good Clean Heart, The Other Room integrated access into the design of the production. What makes Hela different, is that it was not just woven into the design, but into the very narrative and DNA of the play. For her efforts, Mari was nominated for a Stage Debut Award for Best Playwright. While she did not win, it remains the only Welsh/Bilingual production to have been nominated by The Stage.

Hela then toured around Wales and into Theatre 503, London in February 2020.
