The Independent Socialist Republic of the Upper End of the Lower Breck Road was a co-porduction with the Liverpool Royal Court and the debut play by Cardiff-based writer Lawrence Quilty.

The Other Room first met Lawrence through our Young Artists Festival and he would later go on to participate in our TOR Emerging Writer’s Programme with Bad Wolf.
